On 28 July 2009, Iraqi forces along with Iranian affiliated Badr terrorist brigade (recently revealed to have played a central role in suppressions on the streets of Tehran ) attacked Camp Ashraf(near Iranian boarder to Iraq ), home to more than 1000 resistant women refugees and activists in Iraq . This brutal attack* was under direct control of Ahmadinejad and resulted in 12 dead, 500 wounded and 36 people taken as hostages. All 1000 women and camp residents have been "protected persons" under the 4th Geneva Convention
